Trump Says Epstein 'Stole' Virginia Giuffre from Mar-a-Lago Spa, Admits She Was Among Employees Poached by Financier

Former President Donald Trump has made controversial remarks, claiming that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein “stole” Virginia Giuffre from Mar-a-Lago while she worked at the resort's spa. This admission could draw increased attention to Trump’s past connections with Epstein, even as the former president attempts to downplay the growing interest in the case.

In a conversation with reporters on Tuesday, Trump revealed that Epstein hired multiple employees from Mar-a-Lago, including spa staff, despite being advised against it. “He took people that worked for me. And I told him, 'Don’t do it anymore.' And he did it,” Trump explained. He went on to confirm that Epstein was banned from the estate, stating, “I said, ‘Stay the hell out of here.’”

When asked whether the “stolen” employees were young women, Trump responded affirmatively, acknowledging that many were spa workers. “The answer is yes, they were in the spa,” he said. On whether Virginia Giuffre was among them, Trump replied, “I think she worked at the spa... He stole her... she had no complaints about us, as you know, none whatsoever.”

Giuffre, who has accused Epstein and his associates—including Ghislaine Maxwell—of sexual abuse, met Maxwell while working at Mar-a-Lago as a teenager. She tragically died by suicide in April 2025.

Trump’s remarks come at a time when there is increasing pressure, including from some of his own supporters, for him to release additional documents related to Epstein. Despite mounting interest in the case, Trump has brushed off the renewed focus, calling the subject “boring” and urging his followers to “move on.”
